Baby Guadalupe

Our Lady of Guadalupe (Spanish: Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe), symbol of Mexico. “Clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.” She is described as a representative of the Immaculate Conception.

“New Spain puts less faith in its own efforts than in the power of God and the intercession of its Blessed Mother, who appeared within the precincts of Tepeyac as the miraculous image of Guadalupe that had come to comfort us, defend us, and visibly be our protection.”
